Nazareth, PA - Pennsylvania State Senator Lisa M. Boscola and her Chief Legislative Aide Jeff Warren visited Martin Guitar to congratulate the company on its 175th anniversary of manufacturing in America. First elected to the General Assembly in 1994, Senator Boscola is serving her second term representing the 18th District, consisting of Northampton, Lehigh and Monroe Counties. She also serves as the Democratic Chair of the Senate Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee and as a member of the Appropriations Committee.
Senator Boscola presented two documents, the State Senate Proclamation and a Congratulatory Resolution that will be entered into Pennsylvania Senate history. During her visit, members of the Martin Executive Team enjoyed lunch together and discussed various pieces of interest in the political arena. Chris Martin took both guests on a personal tour of the museum, and Scott Follweiler conducted a brief tour through the factory. Jeff Warren, an avid guitarist, was thrilled to participate in this event.
Senator Boscola will be among other dignitaries at a special 175th Anniversary ceremony to be conducted by the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce and the Borough of Nazareth on November 6, 2008. This ceremony will take place at the Martin homestead at our 10 West North Street location.
