Martin Guitar to Introduce Two New D-35 Models as Part of Their 2015 Summer NAMM Presentation

Nazareth, PA (NAMM, Booth 902) – June 29, 2015 – C. F. Martin & Co. continues to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Martin D-35 model with two commemorative limited-edition D-35 models at the 2015 Summer NAMM show in Nashville July 9th through July 11th. The limited edition D12-35 50th Anniversary model and the HD-35 FM IV 60th will be among six other models showcased.

New York, New York - Ace Hotel New York presents London-bred folk chanteuse Flo Morrissey for another edition of our 5 at 5 music series, in collaboration with Martin Guitar, where we ask some of our favorite artists to swing by the lobby and play us five songs at 5pm.

Harrisburg, PA - C.F. Martin & Co. was recognized for creating jobs that pay and their economic impact within the commonwealth as part of the third annual Governor’s ImPAct Awards, which were presented at a ceremony at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa. on May 21, 2015.

Jacqueline Renner Named President of C.F. Martin & Co.

NAZARETH, PA - C.F. Martin & Co. announced today the appointment of Jacqueline Renner as its new President. Renner will work closely with Chairman and CEO Chris Martin IV on strategic direction for the 182 year old acoustic guitar and strings manufacturer. Additionally, Renner will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the global operations for the Pennsylvania-based company.

New York, NY - The Museum of the City of New York presents Folk City: New York and the Folk Music Revival, a celebration of the City's role as the center of the folk music revival from its beginnings in the 1930s and 1940s to its heyday in the 1950s and 1960s, as well as its continuing legacy. With a wide array of memorabilia, including photos, video and sound recordings, the exhibition documents the music and movement that helped transform Greenwich Village and spread as a major cultural phenomenon.
