LEHIGH VALLEY, PA - The Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau awarded C. F. Martin & Company the "Tourism Award" for its new Guitar Museum.
Completed in the fall of 2005, the Martin Guitar Museum and Visitors Center was envisioned by Chris Martin as a very special way of presenting its incredible story to the many thousands of guests who visit the factory every year and experience the factory tour.
When you arrive at 510 Sycamore Street in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, you are greeted by a stunning replication of the original North Street factory façade. The impressive new Visitors Center entrance opens to an expansive lobby area and 1833 Shop. The "Play Me" wall allows visitors to pick up and play some of Martin's best known and top-selling guitars.
The museum's attractive displays showcase over 170 exquisitely crafted guitars that parallel our rich 175-year history. The Martin Guitar Museum is a centre for reflection, bringing together music history, culture and craftsmanship.
Guests are also invited to visit the private "Pickin' Parlor" to play some of Martin's high-end and Limited Edition models.
