The Martin D-18 SS Special Edition is the first short scale 6-string Dreadnought that Martin has ever offered. The short 24.9” scale length allows for reduced string tension, making elongated chords and string-bends easier to play. The guitar's appointments are inspired by vintage D-18 models of the pre-WWII era.
