175th Anniversary Employee Concert Proves To Be a Night to Remember

Dick Boak opened the show with a rousing rendition of John Lennon's "Don't Let Me Down." He was accompanied by local artist Craig Thatcher and bassist Chris Marolf. One by one, each performance surpassed the previous. Emerging artist Jann Klose and his upright bass player were superb. Thom Bresh (Merle Travis'son) was entertaining and hilarious! There were touching moments with Marty Stuart (accompanied by guitarist extraordinaire Kenny Vaughn) and Rosanne Cash (accompanied by her husband and Grammy award winning producer/guitarist John Leventhal) who paid tribute to Johnny Cash. Former Byrds frontman Roger McGuinn was at his best. The finale included all of the performers in McGuinn's version of Bob Dylan's "My Back Pages."

All in all, it was as promised, a night that no one will ever forget - a terrific way to celebrate our 175th Anniversary.
