D-35 David Gilmour
Rock legends need no introduction. Neither do their guitars.
Back in the early ‘70s, David Gilmour was only at the precipice of superstardom when he happened upon a musician selling a used Martin D-35 outside of Manny’s Music shop in New York City. Gilmour purchased the guitar on the spot, and it would go on to become his primary studio acoustic for both Pink Floyd and his solo recordings for more than four decades. That infamous D-35 sold recently at Christie’s Auction House for $1.2 million as part of The David Gilmour Guitar Collection. Now Martin has partnered with Gilmour to design a brand new D-35 Custom Signature Edition with unique features chosen by the legend himself. It’s sure to become his new go-to acoustic.
T1 Ukulele Streetmaster®
It looks like an old friend you’ve been playing for years, but this new Uke is like no other ukulele we have ever made.
We’ve been making tenor-sized ukuleles since 1929, but nothing quite like this. An ultra-thin finish creates a beautifully weathered appearance that feels as if it’s an old friend you’ve been playing for years. The top, back and sides are all mahogany, making it lightweight with a bright tone. If you play guitar and want to learn the uke, this size makes for a comfortable transition, and it's great for both a child and full-grown adult. The T1 StreetMaster brings together premier sound, outstanding playability, and easy affordability in one gorgeous instrument.
Help protect the planet with this work of art.
It’s not just a guitar. It’s a call to action on climate change. A reminder to preserve the planet for future generations. To show our dedication to this cause, we’ve created the first acoustic guitar that is both 100% FSC®-certified and 100% plastic-free. Its top, emblazoned with a work by renowned artist Robert Goetzl, is as stunning as it is powerful, a reminder of what we’re fighting for. And even the gig bag is sustainable: made from hemp—a Martin first. So play, preserve, and protect the planet with the most environmentally friendly guitar on earth.
Sure, it looks cool, but this instrument is also super-comfortable and playable.
Enjoy the booming, full sound of a Dreadnought in a smaller, more playable size with the DJR-10E StreetMaster®. Its distinctive, distressed finish has a comfortably worn look that feels as if it’s an old friend you’ve been playing for years. But it doesn’t just look cool; this instrument is super-comfortable and playable, thanks to a thinner body and a high-performance neck taper. And when you climb on stage or step into the studio, high-performance Fishman® Sonitone electronics make it easy to plug in and play your heart out. Whether it’s your first guitar or the one you take to gigs, the DJR-10E StreetMaster will take you to new musical places.
Grand J-16E 12-String
We’re turning up the volume with this full-bodied guitar that generates well-balanced harmonics and a strong, solid low end.
Ideal for experienced players looking to build on their skills, the Grand J-16E 12 String is a full-bodied, muscular guitar that generates well-balanced harmonics with a strong, solid low end. We craft it in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, with East Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, so this powerhouse looks as good as it sounds. We also added scalloped X-bracing to create beautifully resonant tone that fills the room even when unplugged. And, while playing a 12 string can be challenging, our high-performance taper neck makes this one comfortable-playing, big-sounding guitar.
