The Sycamore Tree Motif
A gold-and-pearl tree on the back symbolizes the generations of Martin artisans whose fingerprints shaped the company; its branches extend into the fingerboard with engraved leaves and fingerprint details.

Diamond-Filled Moravian Star
Set into the headplate, this iconic symbol connects the guitar to Martin’s founding community in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

Performance Meets Art
An ebony bridge with Liquidmetal® bridge pins featuring bezel-set diamonds ensures stunning tone and unmatched visual impact.
This One Really Shines
Every element of the D-3 Millionth is rich with meaning. Its Adirondack spruce top features rings made of real sycamore and solid gold—one for each year since 1833—with diamonds set into the top to mark Martin’s most important milestones. The engraved palladium pickguard bears a map of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, with rubies marking each factory location that shaped our legacy. The back, crafted from rare Brazilian rosewood, displays a sycamore tree inlaid with gold and pearl—its branches stretching onto the ebony fingerboard, adorned with hand-engraved leaves and fingerprints representing the artisans past, present, and future who built the Martin name.
Topped with a diamond-filled Moravian star on the headplate and framed with European flamed maple binding, the D-3 Millionth is more than an instrument—it’s a historical artifact. A museum-worthy masterpiece designed to be played, displayed, and cherished for generations.
Only three were made. Serial number 3,000,000 resides in the Martin Museum. The remaining guitars are available for private sale to those who understand the gravity of this moment and the rarity of what’s being offered.
