What sets the new 000-17 apart are new refinements, such as a traditional compound dovetail neck joint and Sitka spruce Golden Era (GE) top bracing, as featured on the Modern Deluxe Series, which offers a more vintage, breathy tone. Playability enhancements like a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing elevate the player experience. The satin-finished select hardwood neck, with its shorter scale length, ebony fingerboard, and vintage-inspired GE modified low oval profile, is a dream for players who crave fast, effortless playability.
