Durable, Affordable, and Classic Tone

The newly reimagined X Series was made for those with music in their soul and adventure in their hearts. Whether you’re just learning, or a seasoned performer seeking a durable travel guitar, the X Series delivers affordable, eco-conscious instruments without compromising Martin’s legendary tone.

The use of high pressure laminate (HPL) coupled with select hardwood in the X Series make these models some of the sturdiest, scratch and weather-resistant models in Martin’s lineup. Equipped with Fishman® electronics, the X Series will transition with you from your couch, to the studio, to the stage – or even to the great outdoors.

The X Series Acoustic-Electric Guitars Offer a Variety of Sizes and Styles

The X Series is available in a number of body shapes utilizing solid wood or HPL tops, and HPL back and sides. The lineup also includes a 12-string, slope-shoulder, and all black models. New HPL patterns with the look of solid wood and mother-of-pearl pattern inlay on the fingerboards and rosette lend a touch of richness making the X Series as impressive to look at as they are to play. All models come with Fishman® electronics and are strung with Martin’s Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 strings. With a new, soft gig bag featuring headstock, bridge, and endpin protectors, a durable water-repellent exterior, and foam padding, your X Series instrument is ready to go anywhere.

X Series Reviews

DXJohnnyCash Guitar
The high-performance neck taper and tonality when strummed or picked resonated with the feel of an expensive guitar. Martin Guitar has created a winner in the features of the DX Johnny Cash Martin and the value.

Eric Dahl, Rock & Review

Fishman® MX electronics, Style 28 inlay pattern, and a select hardwood bridge make the new Martin X Series guitars a great choice for players of all skill levels!
