Description

The D-42 Modern Deluxe captures the grandeur of Martin’s Golden Era with exquisite modern refinement. A spruce VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM® (VTS) top and Golden Era–style Adirondack spruce X-bracing deliver the resonant tone of a nearly century-old Martin. Natural protein glue and a carbon-fiber bridge plate increase sustain, while exclusive Liquidmetal® bridge pins boost projection. EVO gold frets and a slightly asymmetrical neck ensure comfortable playability, and European flamed-maple binding around the body and fingerboard complements the brilliant pearl bordering on the top, with a pearl torch headplate inlay and Waverly gold open-gear tuners completing the elegant design. Its iconic Dreadnought body offers full, rich tone with clarity and power. Vintage tone meets modern artistry in a truly inspiring guitar.
