D-18 Players & Resources

Anderson East

Anderson learned to sing and play guitar at 11 years old. He is the grandson of a southern Baptist preacher while his mother played piano in the church. After spending much of his time touring and engineering records he was discovered by Dave Cobb at the bluebird café.

"There is so much history and possibility in these instruments. My Martin is a constant source of inspiration, a teacher and most of all a companion."

Rachel Sermanni

Rachel's latest record, Under Mountains, comes from a wizened perspective that belies her relative youth. With a voice both husky and sweet, she composes songs that rollick, roll, and swim with sweet melody.
