Martin is once again unlocking the sonic beauty of sustainable tonewoods with the GPCE Inception™ Maple—available in your choice of a sleek satin or all-new striking gloss finish. This acoustic-electric powerhouse blends cutting-edge innovation with domestic and certified materials, delivering a tone as dynamic as its look. The FSC®-certified European spruce top, offered in an amber fade sunburst, provides quick response and powerful projection, while the maple back and sides, accented by a black walnut wedge, produce a bright, articulate sound with just the right touch of warmth. Martin’s skeletonized bracing and sonic channeling technology, purpose-built for these specific tonewoods, optimize response and reduce mass, increasing both sustain and amplitude—a rare feat in acoustic guitar design. The gloss model features an FSC-certified ebony fingerboard and bridge, while the satin version comes with black walnut—each pairing chosen to enhance tone and feel.
