The SC-13E, with its patented Sure Align® neck system, gives you full access to all frets so you can comfortably reach those high notes. It’s also equipped with a low-profile velocity neck barrel that ergonomically accommodates your hand as you move up the neck, giving you the comfort and playability of an electric. It was designed from the ground up to be plugged in, and its asymmetrical body shape provides balanced output, giving you more gain before feedback. So the next time you’re on stage with an SC-13E, go ahead, play it loud. But, don’t forget, the SC-13E is still a Martin, so it sounds amazing unplugged. And with the limitations of the conventional cutaway acoustic-electric removed, you can now play your way, any way, without limits.

It’s not just a guitar. It’s a call to action on climate change. A reminder to preserve the planet for future generations. To show our dedication to this cause, we’ve created the first acoustic guitar that is 100% FSC®-certified and the only plastic-free guitar in production today. Its top, emblazoned with a work by renowned artist Robert Goetzl, is as stunning as it is powerful, a reminder of what we’re fighting for. And even the gig bag is sustainable: made from hemp—a Martin first. So play, preserve, and protect the planet with the most environmentally friendly guitar on earth.

You really can’t go wrong with a Martin D-28 or any model from Martin’s Standard Series. The D-28 has been the quintessential workhorse of music legends like Hank Williams, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and so many more. The D-28 blends the rich history of the guitar with Martin’s newest and most heralded innovations. It combines vintage appointments, including open gear tuners, an aged toner top, antique white accents, and a faux tortoise pickguard with a new neck profile to give D-28 enthusiasts a modern feel and comfortable playing experience.

The Modern Deluxe package offers a new take on Martin Vintage and it’s available on a variety of body sizes. This OM-28 is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself. The vintage appointments include a Sitka spruce Vintage Tone System® (VTS) top, a dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction that give it the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. The look is unlike anything in our production line with European flamed maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Some ultra-modern features include Liquidmetal® bridge pins and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate that boosts volume. The Modern Deluxe also includes a new neck shape that is slightly asymmetrical for maximum hand comfort up and down the fretboard. This guitar is anything but standard.

If you’re looking for a new guitar that looks and sounds like you’ve been playing it for 80 years, you have just found your holy grail of guitars. The Aged version of the D-28 Authentic 1937 includes all the goodness that comes with Martin’s Authentic Series instruments, like hide glue construction and hand-scalloped X bracing. Plus, the VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM® (VTS) that ages the wood to replicate the sound of a vintage Martin. Learn more about the aging process here. The result is a tactile, visual, and auditory experience that will transport you all the way back to the 1930s. And we know you’re going to like it there.

Ukuleles

Did you know that Martin is the world’s oldest surviving ukulele builder? That's right! We’ve been turning out high-quality ukuleles since the early 1900’s. And we have gorgeous ukes at a variety of price points. We also make our own ukulele strings that you can grab for stocking stuffers. Here are a few of our favorite Martin ukes.

This beautiful-sounding ukulele has top, back and sides made from durable high-pressure laminate (HPL). We hand-selected the finest Hawaiian koa to give this instrument the rich grain pattern of a much more expensive ukulele. But, because it is made from HPL, you can take this concert uke anywhere—the beach, the stage, a road trip— and your only worry will be what song to play next. It may be our lowest-priced uke, but you’d never know it from the way it looks and sounds.

Martin’s Soprano ukuleles are fashioned after the first ukuleles that originated in Hawaii back in the 1880s. The smallest sized ukulele we make, this solid mahogany S1 Uke will surprise you with its generously full tone. Great for beginner and seasoned players, alike, this Martin quality compact instrument really does have it all.

We’ve been making tenor-sized ukuleles since 1929, but nothing quite like this. An ultra-thin finish creates a beautifully weathered appearance that feels as if it’s an old friend you’ve been playing for years. The top, back and sides are all mahogany, making it lightweight with a bright tone. If you play guitar and want to learn the uke, this size makes for a comfortable transition, and it's great for both a child and full-grown adult. The T1 StreetMaster® brings together premier sound, outstanding playability, and easy affordability in one gorgeous instrument.
