Martin Guitar & 'stache media Present: The Turn Down Sessions
Featuring Acclaimed Band TRAMPLED BY TURTLES
MartinGuitar and 'stache media partnered with Ace Hotel and La Blogotheque to present Trampled By Turtles in the new online video series, "The Turn Down Sessions." The session was filmed on Monday, April 16th at Liberty Hall at Ace Hotel New York, and was broadcast live on WFUV. The following videos launched today on the Martin Guitar YouTube Channel.

La Blogotheque, with its beautiful, distinctive style, captured Trampled By Turtles performing within the eclectic Ace Hotel and Liberty Hall, including the sweeping, illustrious first single "Alone." "Widower's Heart" begins with fiddle player Ryan Young journeying through the Ace Hotel and the Breslin. Lead singer/guitarist Dave Simonett and bassist Tim Saxhaug performed with a Martin D-18 and a BC-15E.
Trampled By Turtles released the gorgeous and supercharged Stars And Satellites in April to much praise by both critics and fans. The band has garnered a rabid fan base on account of relentless touring and an always riveting live dynamic. Trampled By Turtles performed on Late Night with David Letterman and the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in conjunction with the release of Stars And Satellites, and just wrapped the first leg of their North American dates, covering over 25 markets. The band continues on the road this summer and fall, with festival dates including Sasquatch!, ACL Festival, Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival and Lollapalooza.
